For car washes

A digital loyalty card for car washes

Turn the weekly wash into a habit at your wash bay, not the one at the next garage. Customers collect a stamp for every wash on their phone and get a free valet when the card is full. No app to download, and no paper card fading on the dashboard. Free to start.

A card set up for a car wash

A good starting point. You can change any of it in a minute, and changes only apply to new cards.

  • 8 washes, a free full valet. Reward text: "Free full valet". Or make it a free wash if valets are a big job.
  • 1 stamp a day. One wash, one stamp.
  • 1 welcome stamp. New customers start with a stamp, so the reward feels close.
  • Reward valid for 6 months. The card shows the use-by date, and the customer gets an email a week before it expires.

Fits a car wash

  • At the pay point: a tablet or phone shows the stamp code, and customers scan it while they pay.
  • Out at the car: switch to staff scan and your staff scan the code on the customer's card from the counter phone and tap "Add stamp". Nobody has to walk to the till.
  • Print your join poster for the waiting area, so new customers can join while their car is being washed.
  • Rewards checked by staff. The customer taps "Use my reward" and staff scan it. It works even when the signal drops.

What you get that paper can't give you

  • A client list: who washes weekly, who comes monthly and who hasn't been back.
  • Every stamp is logged with the staff member who gave it.
  • No more wet, torn paper cards.

What it costs

  • Free for up to 100 active customers, with free staff PINs.
  • Growth R199 a month for unlimited customers, once paid plans open after the pilot.
  • No contract, no card machine, nothing for customers to pay or install.

Car wash loyalty questions

What's a good loyalty reward for a car wash?

A free full valet after 8 washes gives customers something they value more than one more wash. If valets take too long on busy days, a free standard wash after 8 or 9 works too.

Can staff add stamps out at the car?

Yes. In staff-scan mode, staff use the counter phone to scan the code on the customer's card, see their name and stamps, and tap "Add stamp".

What about customers with more than one car?

Komweer counts visits per customer, with a daily limit you choose. If one customer brings two cars on the same day, set the limit to 2.

Does it work with cash?

Yes. Komweer doesn't connect to a card machine, so it works with cash, card or any other way your customers pay.
